School has earned a good name beating in Academics to Army Public School/Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools Akhnoor – CGPA -10.0  (2010-11)
Class X – Pallavi Sharma,2011-12-Sagarika Saraf,2013-14 Anantika Sharma and in the area of Co-curricular activities,it has made a hatric  of Ist position in Cultural programme organised on the occasion of Republic Day Celebration at tehsil level(2010,2011 and 2012).School organised a Debate and Declamation competition  in connection with Mahatma Hans Raj Zonal Youth festival 2011-12 in which students of DAV schools of J&K participated. School also organized vigilance Awareness programme- CBSE in which Hon’ble Minister for Health,Horticulture and Floriculture was the chief Guest.In Avantika competition every year many students are bagged with Shield,Medals and trophy and school are celebrated consumer awareness day in collaboration with Rotary International Club Akhnoor. School organized a painting competition in connection with National communal Harmony day For I/II/III Positions from Asst. Secretary National Foundation for Communal Harmony and three students got certificates.Students of the school not only participates in various Co-Curricular activities but also participated in Kho-Kho match organized by CBSE Cluster at Ponta Sahib in (H.P.).
